"I am a long-time driver but haven't needed a car or insurance for many years in NYC. When I needed to get insurance, it was difficult to find companies that offer NYC insurance or who could get us set up quickly given the lack of insurance history. I called this agency and spoke with Chris and he was able to help me with lots of information, price comparisons, and guidance - I was set up in no time! I even (tried to) call a few other companies to price compare, and Chris graciously helped out as I went back and forth on the best option a few times. I feel great about going with this agency! "State Farm doesn't care about its customers. I received a letter stating my policy wouldn't be renewed and the reason was for a collision coverage claim in October 2023. The accident was not my fault, my car was parked while I was at work and a truck damaged my vehicle. The security footage from my job was able to capture the incident. I sent the video to State Farm and the information of the truck and driver. State Farm never investigated, no one ever called me back. I spent $500 towards my car repair, I was never refunded. This is one of the worst insurance companies I've ever had."

"I have been a customer for the past year and I can truly say that the service from this establishment have left me baffled at times. Initially when I was prospecting for insurance quotes the agent I worked with was very responsive and ensured that all my questions and concerns were addressed. Upon becoming a customer every interaction with this office has been frustrating, when calling the office you speak with a answering service representative who takes your information an advise that an agent will return your call. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RETURNED CALL FROM AN AGENT, instead I have to frequently call the office to follow up or in some cases find an alternative to why I were calling the office to being with. While State Farm have offered the best insurance rate, I believe this establishment customer service will have me looking for another agent."

"Horrible experience with this insurance company. I was told my policy was subject to cancel on 9/5 by Chris. He stated for me to have my address changed on my license two weeks ago to reflect my address to prevent cancellation and I complied. I call in today to inform him and to provide a copy and was told he had to run numbers for a new policy and that he would call me back. He calls back and states that due to changing my address on my license on a new policy and new policy pricing my policy went up $186 dollars. Mind you I’ve had insurance since June with them and should be able to keep the same policy or been given notice of significant increase taking effect in August. I asked to speak with management and he stated no one was available. I then requested a call from management and he stated that I would most likely not receive a call back because manager Crystal was with a customer. I stated I would go in person to the Fulton location and was told she was working out of the Nostrand location. We ended the call and he called me back to state that the Manager Crystal was working remotely and was unreachable. I asked why If she was working remotely that meant she could at least give a call back and he stated that she mostly would not and that I can come in person to the Fulton location to file a grievance. I told him filing a grievance is not my objective. My objective is to be heard and to get a resolution for the outrageous increase. I then stated that I can at least give the manager 24 hours to reach out to me before filing a grievance and he stated that he understood. He then confirmed that he would put the ridiculous overpriced policy through without payment to give me time to find another insurance company which was an indication that my concerns and requests to speak with management will not happen and that there would be no resolution to the increased policy amount. And the worse part is the fact that with Statefarm it takes three days for policy to take into effect so I’ll be without insurance for this three days. To be safe I cannot drive and will be hindered from doing my job which requires home visits. This is a major inconvenience and should not have happened just to bump up pricing and will be reported to the BBB. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE COMPANY OR LOCATION WHICH IS LOCATED ON NOSTRAND AND FULTON ‼️‼️ I’m highly disappointed and frustrated to have to search for a new insurance company and pay out for a new policy when I just made a payment on 8/29/23 to Statefarm for an existing policy!!!"
